![]() ![]() The game is a fantasy version of American football, played between two teams of up to 16 players, each team fielding up to 11 players at a time. The launch was met with criticism over the new monetisation system introduced into the game, bugs and crashes, poor AI, readability, as well as server issues and a lack of tools and features present in the previous game. The game was announced in August 2020 but had numerous delays and postponement to its release date. It contains a single-player campaign as well as multiplayer. The game uses the newly updated Second Edition ruleset. The game was released on 23 February 2023 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S, with a Nintendo Switch port to follow sometime later in 2023. It is a sequel to the 2015 video game Blood Bowl 2, based on the Blood Bowl board game by Games Workshop and is the third Blood Bowl game created by Cyanide. I love this franchise but we can't let practices like this go on.Blood Bowl 3 is a turn-based fantasy sports video game developed by Cyanide Studios and published by Nacon. At the time of this Review Blood Bowl 3 at it's peaks has 209 players active on it, meanwhile Blood Bowl 2 has almost double that at 416. (even tho several extra teams are in the game files that they will make us pay for later) this all could've been avoided by caring about your consumers, fans, and more importantly the IP. You would think when you have previous versions of a video game that you would want to at least meet the standard that the last title was left at and then expand on that, but no this game gives you way less content to play with not even talking about the limited number of teams to start. This should've been labeled as early access, and the fact that they cared more about putting micro transactions into this game before making sure to have a full game ready for release is just sad. I have tried to be patient with these developers but the silence to the community is astonishing, key features aren't in the game and the team can't even stick to there own road map. I love Blood Bowl and i loved Blood Bowl 2.
